START TIME: 9:00-10:30 AM
FINISH TIME: 1:30 PM
DISTANCE: 12 KM (7.46 MILES)
TRAIL: (3) Walk or run city streets on the historic Bloomsday course. Take part in the largest TIMED running.walking event in the world. Staggered starts for all levels competing for personal best and bragging rights, enoying fun, fitness, and friendship. Suitable for strollers. Hard for wheelcharis.
AWARD: 2010 National Physical Fitness & Sports Month Patch and credit is $7.00. Credit Only is $3.00. All participants are welcome but must register, carry, and return an AVA Sart Card.
HAT PINS: None.
PRE-REGISTRATION: Registration for Volkssport at Bloomsday even April 30-May 1 at the LCVA Booth at the Bloomsday Trade Show held in the Convention Center on the corner of Division Street and Spokane Falls BLVD.
MISCELLANEOUS: Water and restrooms at start/finish and along the Bloomsday Route. Pets not permitted.
Particpants in Volkssport at Bloomsday must also register for the Bloomsday Race. You can register on line at:
www.bloomsdayrun.org and get information on the race. Bloomsday cost is $15.00 + $1.49 on-lin processing fee until April 18, 2010. $30.00 + $2.99 on-line processing fee April 19-25, 2010. This fee is in addition to the volkssport fees listed above.
On May 2, the Volkssport start finish will be located in the AMPCO Parking Lot at Spokane Falls BLvd & Stevens. Registration on Sunday will be open from 7-10 am. The booth will close at 2:00 pm.

DIRECTIONS; I-90 Exit 281 (Division St) Eastbound left/Westbound right on Division St. Left on Spokane Falls Blvd, Convention Center on Right. Continuing West the AMPCO Parking Lot will be on the Left and Riverfront Park will be on your right.
