Trail: (2+) Walk part of the paved Chipman Trail (Pullman to Moscow, ID) onto the WSU Campus. WSU was established in 1890 as the the State of Washington Land Grant University. It is the home of the Edward R. Murrow School of Communication. Walk by animal pens to bear exhibits, College of Agriculture, around Lewis Alumni Center (Cougar Statue). Welcome to visit when open. Visit Ferdinand's Bar for delciious ice cream and cheese (open weekdays). Have a snack at the CUB, check out the Bookie (much more than a bookstore). Finish the walk on city trails and streets.
 
Directions to the start at Denny's, 1170 SE Bishop Blvd, Pullman, WA. from the north on US 195, Pullman exit go approximately 2 miles and follow signs through town to WSU/Moscow, to Bishop Blvd, turn right and follow to Denny's. From the south on US 195, take Washington 270 to Pullman, approximately 1.3 miles to Bishop Blvd., turn right and follow to Denny's. From the east follow 270 from Moscow into Pullman to Bishop Blvd., turn left to Denny's.
